Who we are
Dueling Domain is an unofficial fan project. You can reach us at support@duelingdomain.com.
What we collect on this site
When you join the waitlist, we save your email address, which form you used, your browser's user agent and the time you joined. We use your IP address temporarily in memory to limit repeated submissions; we do not store it with your signup. Our server keeps logs for security, which may include IP addresses. They are kept for a limited time and then deleted automatically. We use no analytics.
Why we use it
We use your waitlist information to send alpha invites and alpha news about Dueling Domain only, and to keep the form working and prevent abuse. We do not sell your information, use it for ads, share it for targeted advertising or market anyone else's products.
Your consent
By submitting a waitlist form, you consent to these alpha emails. Consent is our legal basis for sending them. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us to unsubscribe or delete your signup. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before you withdrew it.
Who processes your information
Hetzner hosts the site and the waitlist database on a server in Nuremberg, Germany. Once you are invited, Clerk processes app accounts and sends alpha invite emails. These providers may process information outside your country; the protections available there may differ.
Russo One and Chakra Petch are served from our own host. Loading these fonts does not contact Google or another font provider.
In the app
The app uses Clerk for sign-in with email and password or, optionally, Discord. Discord sign-in shares your Discord ID, username and avatar. Clerk handles account and sign-in information. The app also stores game data such as drafts, decks and matches so you can play and keep track of them.
Cookies
The marketing page sets no cookies. The app uses strictly necessary sign-in cookies to keep you signed in and secure your account.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist emails until the alpha ends or you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first. We delete your waitlist information within 30 days of a request.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, get a copy, or withdraw your consent. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing and to data portability. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. We may need to verify that a request is yours.
Contact us to make a request or raise a concern. You can also complain to your local data protection or privacy authority.
Children
Dueling Domain is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you are under 16 in the EU, you need a parent or guardian's consent. If you believe a child has shared information with us without the required consent, contact us and we will delete it on request.
Changes
We will update the date on this page when the notice changes. We will email the waitlist about material changes.
